Editorial – February 2010
Welcome to the latest edition of Boss News - February may be the shortest month of the year but there certainly seems to have been a great deal of activity in the sector, as you will see on perusing the news items.

Regional updates come from both the US and Asia Pacific areas this month. John Symon, SVP Asia Pacific, gives an informed insight as to what is occurring in the region and how global economies are driving growth there. Paul Carman gives a perceptive overview of what is happening, both across the US generally, and within the ECM, BPM and BPO sectors. Both reports are obligatory reading for anybody wishing to keep ‘ahead of the pack’.

This month we also benefit from a Business Leader Interview, conducted by Paul Carman, with Neil Pitman, CTO and Managing Director of Aquaforest. Neil has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, both in the US and UK and his interview makes compelling reading for anyone in the sector, interested in learning how to operate to generate success during challenging times.

It has certainly been a tricky start to the new year – both fiscally and weather-wise – but we are now well on the way towards Spring and, let us hope, more clement times.

Kind regards for a profitable month ahead
