The technology offers a flexible solution for centralized output management.   Using   its   powerful   functions   for   document   re-engineering, it is possible to optimize, merge, split, convert and edit composed documents from any application. Due to its outstanding performance,   this solution is a particularly good fit   for   high   volume environments.
Based upon its workflow oriented graphical user interface, it is an easy to use solution and   suitable   for   non-programmers.
 
Document Conversion:
Furthermore, it is possible to convert from one file format to another, for example from PostScript
or AFP to PDF and vice versa.
 
Document Composition vendors:
This company has also produced a document composition engine with close to 30 operational users. This solution has not been further developed over the last few years because of the company’s dedicated focus on output management. Most of these existing clients are expected to replace this composition tool within the next 1-2 years. Thus, this may provide an attractive opportunity for a document composition vendor who would like to add industrial strength output and print management capabilities while, at the same time, having cross sell and up-sell potential to the client base of this company.
